OzHarvest
Placed proudly supports OzHarvest, Australia’s leading food rescue organisation. Founded by Ronni Kahn AO in 2004, OzHarvest collects over 250 tonnes of food each week destined for landfill from more than 3,000 businesses and delivers it to over 1,800 charities across Australia, helping to make a difference to the lives of vulnerable men, women, and children across Australia. Every single dollar donated to OzHarvest provides two meals to someone in need.
OzHarvest are committed to halving food waste by 2030, inspiring and influencing others to do the same through their education programs NEST, FEAST and Nourish, advocating for change and creating innovative projects.
Together, Placed and OzHarvest are making the following impact:
- 4100 Kgs of food diverted from landfill
- 8200 meals delivered to vulnerable people
- 27,060 Kgs of greenhouse emissions prevented through avoiding food waste.

How Catering provides refugees and people seeking asylum with opportunities such as traineeships as chefs to equip them with the skills, confidence and qualifications to secure their future employment.
