Located in Canberra, this iconic venue is undergoing a stunning transformation, blending contemporary design with an inviting atmosphere. Our client’s aim is to create a dynamic, upscale experience that appeals to a younger, vibrant demographic. With a staged opening across its different sections, including a revamped gaming floor, elevated dining, and a chic pub, this is your chance to be part of something special.

The Role

In this hands-on leadership position, you’ll oversee all aspects of food and beverage operations, from menu creation to team development. Working closely with our venue manager, you’ll ensure a smooth, successful opening and maintain the highest service standards throughout.

In your day-to-day, you’ll train and mentor the team, manage operations, and craft an unforgettable dining experience. You’ll also be key in launching table service for the first time, collaborating with the Executive Chef to bring the venue’s modern food philosophy to life.

About You

  • Experience: Proven leadership in hospitality, ideally with venue openings under your belt. You know how to bring a team together and elevate service to new heights.
  • Skills: Strong communication and team-building abilities, along with a solid grasp of hospitality operations. Experience in POS systems and staff management is essential.
  • Drive: You’re energetic, passionate, and ready to create a venue that people will talk about. You thrive in fast-paced environments and love tackling challenges head-on.

You’re a natural leader, both hands-on and strategic, who thrives on working closely with your team. With a positive attitude and enthusiasm, you guide them effectively. You’re adaptable, innovative, and ready to jump in when needed. Your passion for food and beverage is matched by your wealth of experience.
