With supportive owners dedicated to excellence and fostering a positive company culture, this venue is striving for a Chef’s Hat and truly values its staff.

The Role

This is a Head Chef role that requires hands-on leadership to run this business with a young and tight knit kitchen team. Needless to say it’s very hands-on in the kitchen, requiring an eye for detail and strong leadership skills to oversee the kitchen, and run the pass during busy services.

There will be all the support from the owners who are also very hands on and passionate about the industry and very supportive of their staff development.

All the usual responsibilities of running a kitchen are part of the role, and it’s very hands-on. However, we’re looking for someone who thrives on collaboration with the Venue Manager to grow the business. We want a leader who can drive excitement, create a buzz, and inspire others with their enthusiasm.

Background

Coming from a Hatted background is preferred but not necessary for the chef with the right attitude and skill set. Strong Knowledge of Italian / Modern Australian a bonus but again, not a deal breaker.

Earn up to *$130K plus super and kitchen tips, with a 45-hour work week.
