The Company
A highly regarded venue with first class facilities that provides high quality entertainment and hospitality. A large portion of the food is made in-house and approximately 50% of the functions are plated with the rest being cocktail and buffet style. You’ll always be on your toes in this role because no two days are the same!

The position reports to the Senior Chefs and is part of the large kitchen team. On a busy day the kitchen team can be up to 140 chefs (permanent and casuals).
This company is highly organised and requires a chef with a can-do attitude and the ability to be a problem solver in busy shifts.
The Role and The Perks
The key purpose of the role is to contribute to the catering and functions team producing food for one of Sydney’s most highly regarded venues.
It is required to have prior expertise with banquets, busy restaurants, or catering.
This role will be predominantly working 8am – 4pm. Operating 7 days a week, you must be available for work on the weekends since these are the busiest days.

Salary is up to $75-80K + Super.

- Strong organisational, planning and time management skills
- Proven leadership qualities and the ability to train, lead and motivate the team around you to succeed
- Ability to work in a high-pressure situation and work clean and effectively
- Ability to work in a large team and take responsibility for a section comfortably
