The Role
We’re seeking a proactive and dynamic Operations Manager who thrives on delivering operational excellence and takes pride in knowing every detail of the business inside and out.
This role is all about leadership on the ground, ensuring the venue operates seamlessly, identifying opportunities for improvement, and addressing issues before they arise. You’ll work closely with the venue leaders, leading by example and ensuring every guest leaves with a great experience.
Your key responsibilities will include being present and hands-on, fully immersed in the daily operations and knowing every detail of the venue. You will proactively identify and address challenges to ensure smooth and efficient service while driving operational standards and maintaining a customer-first focus.
As a natural leader, you’ll inspire and nurture a cohesive team by prioritizing staff training, development, and motivation. Working hand-in-hand with other managers and teams, you’ll ensure a seamless and unforgettable guest experience.
The Person
We’re looking for someone with a true publican mentality – a natural leader who thrives on being involved in every aspect of the business and takes pride in delivering operational excellence.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in hospitality operations, ideally in multi-faceted venues.
- A hands-on, proactive approach – you’re always present, problem-solving, and leading by example.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with a knack for spotting and resolving issues quickly.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a focus on fostering a positive culture.
- A passion for creating memorable experiences and maintaining high standards.
Hours
This role requires flexibility, including a mix of day and evening shifts. A standard week of 42-44 hours.
