This is a very unique role for an experienced Chef, who’s looking to move away from the high volume services and unsociable evening/weekend hours. Offering a great opportunity to work for a family who are passionate about great food while also still working with excellent fresh local produce.
We are seeking a highly skilled private chef with a passion for Mediterranean cuisine and a focus on healthy, high-protein meals using fresh, seasonal ingredients. This role is ideal for someone who has worked in fine dining, catering, or private households and is looking for a steady, well-compensated position with flexibility.
Duties:
- Prepare all meals, snacks, smoothies, and drinks during working hours
- Pre-prep additional meals/snacks for the rest of the week
- Source and use high-quality, fresh ingredients
- Focus on healthy Mediterranean-inspired meals, rich in proteins, fresh fruits, vegetables, and the occasional treat
- Keep the kitchen organized, clean, and well-stocked
Expectations:
- Discretion & Professionalism: A must for working in a private home
- Communication: Quiet and diplomatic
- Cooking skills: European/Mediterranean experience at a good restaurant level. Also someone who is used to creating dishes on a regular basis.
- Cleanliness: In both your personal appearance and while working.
Key Benefits:
- Monday to Thursday, 12 PM – 6 PM
- Paid Holidays: 5 weeks per year
- Extra Opportunities: Potential for weekend family events (paid additionally if required) with advance notice

- Pro-rata $80,000 – $100,000, based on experience
