The Venue
A unique and exciting opportunity has opened up for a dynamic, experienced Pub Operations Manager to join this iconic, well-known venue in Sydney. Famous for its outstanding culture, the venue is part of a leading hospitality group with a solid reputation for growth and longevity. Situated in the CBD/Inner West, this busy pub is renowned for its top-notch service, exceptional food and beverage offerings, and strong community focus.
The Role
As the Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth running of daily operations across multiple bars, dining areas on two levels, and the gaming section. You will be responsible for overseeing service quality, implementing procedures, managing cash flow, and maintaining an outstanding customer experience.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, who is well-known in the industry, you will learn a lot from this hospitality weapon. You will lead a team of floor staff and supervisors, plus 2 venue managers, guiding them to meet their KPIs, providing ongoing development, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
Furthermore, you will actively engage with the community, representing the venue and fostering long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the area. With strong support from head office and a stable, long-standing team, you’ll have all the resources needed to thrive.
The Person
They are seeking a hands-on, humble leader who excels in a fast-paced setting. A strong background in hospitality operations, specifically in food and beverage service, is required. Strong leadership and team management abilities are crucial, along with the capability to maintain high service standards while ensuring operational efficiency.

Hours
This role demands flexibility, with typical working hours consisting of a mix of day and evening shifts, including one late night per week.
