The Role
As Duty Manager, you will take charge of the venue’s daily operations, ensuring seamless service across the bar, bistro, and cocktail lounge. Your responsibilities will include overseeing shifts, managing staff, and maintaining high service standards. You will also play a key role in developing and managing the beverage program, curating cocktail menus, and refining the wine list.
Collaborating closely with the General and Duty Managers, you will oversee the seamless operation of the venue, particularly during peak hours. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for closing the venue on busy nights, ensuring all protocols are followed and service standards are upheld.
The Person
If you’re a pub bar supervisor who’s passionate about shaking up cocktails and likes knowing about the latest wine release, then this is for you. A hands-on, approachable leader, you should be comfortable managing shifts, handling late-night operations, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences.
Hours
This role offers a balanced schedule with a 44 hrs per week rotating roster, focusing on mid & evening shifts.
Salary
The salary is set between AUD 75,000 – 80,000 per year. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional to elevate their career.
