The Kitchen
There is a fully equipped band new commercial kitchen tailored to the delivery of fine dining experience. They will be looking to work with local suppliers to make sure the best produce is sourced locally.
The venue has two main areas: a restaurant focusing on dinners and a bar offering share plates and casual meals. As a seven-day operation with boutique accommodations, it will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
The Role
The client is looking for someone coming from a technical background moving up the ranks as a CDP or Junior Sous, wanting a change of scenery in a supportive & less chaotic environment.
What the client is looking for:
- Hatted or similar experience preferred but not essential
- Someone who has a drive for excellence and wants to push the boundaries with cooking from local suppliers
- Good mentor or guidance with their team, problem solver and dynamic
- Experience cooking with wood fire and charcoal
A competitive salary of $75-80K plus super is offered, depending on experience, with the possibility of discounted short- to medium-term accommodation.
