This role is based on the Central Coast, NSW—1.5 hours from Sydney. Visa transfer and short-term accommodation may be available for the right candidate.

The Team
It’s a big team you will be leading so you will need to be a strong and confident leader and comfortable working within a fast-moving, busy, quality venue.
The Executive Chef is strong, smart and supportive, known for his modern man-management, running a tight ship and creating positive energy in the kitchen.
The broader management team has worked together for many years and is a professional and motivated group of hospitality veterans. They believe in responsible and honest 360 communication. You’ll have a supportive management team that is always looking out for staff members.
What You Will Need
Most systems and procedures are already in place, but the company seeks an experienced, hands-on chef. With the Executive Chef handling most admin, this role focuses on kitchen prep and service.
The ideal candidate is
- Someone who thinks outside of the square when it comes to implementing new systems in the kitchen and making sure all the chefs maintain it.
- A chef who is always on the ball and a forward thinker. Always 2 steps ahead of what is going to happen next. (Problem Solver)
- Highly organised and can maintain high consistency in service and prep.
- Can create a calm and collaborative energy with their staff and not get frustrated in stressful situations.
- Creative and in touch with food trends
