The Role

We are on the hunt for a talented and driven Sous Chef who thrives in a fast-paced, high-end environment. Reporting to the Exec Chef, you’ll play a pivotal role in our culinary brigade, taking the lead on our extensive functions while seamlessly integrating into our fine dining and brasserie-style kitchens when needed. With a strong team of 15 chefs, you will generally work alongside 5-8 chefs per shift, ensuring smooth service and delivering on high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Function Leadership: Spearhead all aspects of our function offerings, averaging 100 guests per event. Ensure flawless execution from preparation to service.
  • Ala Carte Support: Step into our ala carte kitchens as needed, offering your expertise in both our fine dining and brasserie-style menus, which cater to 40-50 guests nightly.
  • Operational Management: Oversee ordering, manage rostering for optimum efficiency, and handle key administrative duties.
  • Shift Scheduling: Begin with afternoon shifts (Roughly 1 pm – 10 pm, Tuesday to Saturday) and adapt as flexibility becomes available.
